HS01: ½ Day Working at Height Awareness Course - Online
Purpose of the course
This ½ day online (instructor led) course is designed to introduce delegates to the main requirements of the Work at Height Regulations 2005 so that they have a thorough understanding of their legal obligations with regards to planning, managing and supervising working at height activities.
On completion of the course, delegates will have the requisite knowledge and understanding of the Work at Height Regulations 2005 to apply the hierarchy of control measures for work at height activities and the need to employ competent operatives to deliver a safe system of work.

Introduction to the Work at Height and associated regulations
Considerations for a WaH Safe System
Overview of temporary working at height platforms/systems
Overview of fixed working at height platforms/systems
Overview of rooftop working
The requirement for an Emergency & Rescue Plan
First aid requirements & suspension syncope
Duration and Certification
Half day (am 09:00-12:00 or pm 13:00-16:00)

Course requirements and prerequisites
Delegates must have a good command of the English language and have access to a computer, email and internet.
