HS08: 1 Day Basic Rigging & Light Lifting Course - Open Course
Purpose of the course
This 1 day classroom and practical based course is designed to provide 7 hours of classroom and practical instruction with assessment to enable delegates to produce a lifting plan under LOLER Regulations and carry out low to medium level equipment loads of up to 100Kg on a structure.
On completion of the course, delegates should be able to assess, plan, prepare and carry out basic rigging and lifting operations in a safe manner to manually lift loads onto a structure.

Course requirements and prerequisites
Delegates must have a good command of the English language
Delegates must hold current climber certification or take this course in conjunction with a relevant climbing course
Delegates will require confirmation of medical fitness or complete a self-certification statement
Delegates will require footwear and clothing to suit the course and weather conditions
Climbing equipment will be provided
