HS12/1: 1 Day Management of Working at Height (Responsible Person) Course - Open Course

Purpose of the course

This 1 day classroom based course is designed to introduce delegates to the main requirements of The Work at Height Regulations 2005, so that a Safe Systems of Work can be implemented, managed and controlled by competent persons. It refers to a generic Working at Height Procedure and supporting documents that is aimed at delegates identified to manage and control lower risk levels of work at height activity as a nominated Responsible Person.

On completion of the course, delegates will have the requisite knowledge to be able to identify and advise on typical working at height activities, understand the risks, review safety documentation, check competencies and ensure that the correct control measures are in place prior to permitting work to proceed.
