HS11: 1 Day Inspection of Fall Protective Equipment Course - Open Course

This 1 day classroom based course is designed to provide 7 hours of classroom instruction with assessment to give delegates a good understanding of inspecting and managing personal fall protection equipment in accordance with the current legislation and in particular HSE INDG367 Inspecting fall arrest equipment made from webbing or rope and HSE INDG422 Thorough examination of lifting equipment.

On completion of the course, delegates should be able to ensure that a correct procedure for record keeping, inspection and maintenance of all working at height equipment is in place and carried out in accordance with the manufactures’ instructions and the current regulations.

No practical climbing will take place during this course
